I believe our best memories come from real experiences and interactions. We cherish the people we love for who they are, not for what they looked like at a moment in time. Taking a photo is easy. Anyone can do that with a phone. Making a photograph that captures someone's spirit and essence... that takes skill and years of experience.

My background in photojournalism and a lifetime of pursuing candid moments in my photography has led to the development of my unique style of family portraiture. Kids have personalities. Instead of dressing them up like dolls to capture the perfect photo, embrace their personalities and
